How to Make Mel's Creamed Cabbage
- Boil chopped cabbage in salted water until soft. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in frying pan and add one chopped onion. Cook on medium heat until translucent.
- Add cooked cabbage and onions to food processor with heavy cream. Pulse to break it up and then blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Mixture should be smooth and not grainy. Serve with dumplings, noodles, and meat of your choice.
