meat & cheese pastry shells
(1 RATING)
Originally made with ham and swiss, but can switch up filling combinations: salami & provolone, sandwich pepperoni & mozzarella, turkey & swiss; scramble some eggs & use as filling with shredded cheese, or add cooked veggies; maybe even fill with berries! No limits except your imaginiation!

How To Make meat & cheese pastry shells
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 400°F.
-
Step 2Put pastry shells on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes, til golden and puffed up. Use a fork and remove top dough from shell; set aside. This will make the 'hat' on your shell after filling.
-
Step 3Chop meat & combine with cheese to fill up each shell. Top with the dough you removed earlier. Return to oven for another 5 minutes.
-
Step 4Let stand 1-2 minutes. Enjoy!
