maple butternut squash
I like the winter squash, you can make so many varities. Butternut Squash is one of my favorite. Maple syrup provide a sweet note. I hope you enjoy this.

Ingredients
- 2 medium butternut squash [2 pounds each]
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 4 tablespoons butter, cut in pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
How To Make maple butternut squash

Step 1Cut each squash lengthwise in half; discard seeds. With vegetable peeler, remove peel, then cut squash crosswise into 1-inch-thick slices.

Step 2In 5 quart saucepot, heat 1 inch water to boiling over high heat,add squash. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until tender, About 15 minutes. Drain.

Step 3In large bowl, combine squash,maple syrup butter, salt and pepper. With mixer at low speed, beat until smooth. Spoon into serving bowl.
