This is a slaw that has no mayo in it. The recipe came from Lill Bower, a sweet Canadian lady that wintered over in our snowbird park.

3 lbcabbage, shredded

4 smonions, thinly sliced

3/4 csugar
-
1 cwhite vinegar
-
1/2 tspgarlic powder

1 1/2 tspsalt

1 tspcelery seed

1 tspdry mustard

1 cvegetable oil
How To Make lill's canadian style slaw

1Alternate layers of cabbage and onions.

2Heat remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

3Pour over cabbage, cover set 1 hour.

4Stir and refrigerate.
