Ingredients
- FOR THE LAYERS :
- 6 medium potatoes ; sliced
- 1 large onion , sliced
- 2 large carrot , sliced
- 2 large green bell pepper , sliced
- 1 medium zucchini , sliced
- 1 cup frozen or fresh corn
- 1 cup frozen or fresh peas
- 1/4 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup frozen or fresh cut green beans
- FOR THE SAUCE :
- 2-1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup tamari sauce ( a special type of soy sauce)
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon sage
- 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
How To Make layered vegetables (in a crock pot )

Step 1Layer vegetables in a large crock pot in the order given .

Step 2Mix together all the sauce ingredients and pour over top of the layers of vegetables .

Step 3Cover and cook on Low setting for 12 hours or on high for 6 hours.
