kosher fridge pickles

Made a gallon of these last week, had to make 2 more gallons this evening! Test run turned out so good I guess it's a perminent pickle in our house now!

Ingredients

  • 5 medium cucumbers
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups white distilled vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 30 cloves garlic, peeled whole
  • 1 medium onion diced large
  • 1/2 cup dill seed

How To Make kosher fridge pickles

  • Step 1
    Cut ends off cucumbers Cut in half quarter each half peel skins off garlic cloves
  • Step 2
    stuff in gallon jar, sprinkle with dill seed. heat water, vinegar and salt just till salt dissolves
  • Step 3
    Pour mixture over pickles into jar, cover and fridgerate for 5 days
