Ingredients

  • 1 pound can red kidney beans
  • 2 cups thinly sliced celery
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 4 small sweet pickles , chopped
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon each, salt and pepper
  • - lettuce, optional

How To Make kidney bean salad

  • Step 1
    Drain beans thoroughly; combine with celery, onion, walnuts, and pickles. Mix oil, vinegar, salt and pepper; pour over bean mixture, toss. Serve on lettuce if you wish. Makes 6-8 servings.
