My kids loved this spinach; People would stare when my kids begged me to buy spinach at the grocery store!! Even people who aren't fond of Spinach try this and love it!!

Ingredients

1 lb
frozen chopped spinach
1 stick
butter
1 jar(s)
hormel real bacon bits or pieces
garlic salt to taste

How to Make Kid Friendly Spinach

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a skillet over medium heat melt butter and add about 1/2 the jar of bacon bits and a dash of garlic salt. Let simmer for a couple minutes then add spinach and stir well. Cover and cook on med low until spinach is tender, about 20- 25 minutes, stirring often. Remove lid for last few minutes. Add more bacon and garlic salt during cooking to taste..
  • 2This goes great with Spaghetti or Lasagna and creamed corn!
