This is a receipe that I just love and could eat it all the time. I normally use frozen peas, but when peas are in season I love to use the fresh ones.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cubed sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet pickles, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup mayonaise
  • 2 1/2 cups frozen(thawed) or fresh peas
  • - cooked crispy bacon
  • - lettuce leaves

How To Make jen's pea & cheese salad

  • Step 1
    Combine all the ingredients. Chill until serving time. Serve mounded on lettuce leaves.
  • Step 2
    These proportions are never enough for my family and I love to have it as leftovers, so you can always tweek the recipe to make more. The longer it sits in the fridge, the better it tastes!!
