This is a receipe that I just love and could eat it all the time. I normally use frozen peas, but when peas are in season I love to use the fresh ones.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    cubed sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c
    chopped sweet pickles, drained
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/3 c
    mayonaise
  • 2 1/2 c
    frozen(thawed) or fresh peas
  • ·
    cooked crispy bacon
  • ·
    lettuce leaves

How to Make Jen's Pea & Cheese Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all the ingredients. Chill until serving time. Serve mounded on lettuce leaves.
  2. These proportions are never enough for my family and I love to have it as leftovers, so you can always tweek the recipe to make more. The longer it sits in the fridge, the better it tastes!!
