My kids do not like vegetables...BUT! They LOVE my Brussels Sprouts. They beg me for them, actually. This is their favorite side dish, and they could probably eat them as a meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound brussels sprouts
  • 1 clove elephant garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - itailian seasoning, dried
  • - salt, to taste

How To Make italian brussels sprouts

  • Step 1
    Remove brown ends and yellow leaves of Brussels and cut in half, lengthwise. Put Brussels in a bowl of water and microwave for 7 minute, drain.
  • Step 2
    While they are draining add oil to pan at medium to medium high heat and allow to heat.
  • Step 3
    Add garlic to hot oil and cook until it just begins to brown.
  • Step 4
    Add Brussels back to pan and sprinkle with a good amount of Italian seasoning and salt to taste.
  • Step 5
    Toss to coat well and cook until Brussels just begin to brown.
  • Step 6
    Serve and enjoy while hot
