This simple salad brings so much to the table. Served with a homemade cream-based dressing, it's the perfect accompaniment to almost any -- and every -- meal.

Ingredients

  • 3 - hard-cooked eggs
  • 1 (16oz) package salad greens
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • DRESSING
  • 3/4 cup light mayonnaise or light salad dressing
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or splenda
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar

How To Make house salad

  • Step 1
    Cut one egg into wedges for garnish and dice remaining eggs. In a salad bowl, combine the greens, tomato, onion and diced eggs.
  • Step 2
    In a jar with tight-fitting lid, combine the dressing ingredients; shake well. Pour over salad and toss to coat. Garnish with egg wedges. Serve immediately.
