I know there are several recipes on here for Honey Carrots but this is my favorite. Lightly sweetened to bring out the sweetness already in carrots.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds frozen or fresh carrots, sliced or baby carrots
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon light margarine
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon light brown sugar

How To Make honeyed carrots

  • Step 1
    In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil over high heat. Add carrots, reduce heat to medium and simmer, covered, for about 10 minutes or until tender-crisp. Drain.
  • Step 2
    In a large skillet, melt margarine over medium heat. Add honey, brown sugar, and carrots. Reduce heat to med-low and cook 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until carrots are well glazed. Serve.
