honey and soy asparagus
If you like asparagus then you are going to love this recipe. My husband has not stopped talking about it since I made it. Asparagus was one of the veggies that I consumed a lot of while going through chemo and this recipe is one that one of my housemates (who quickly became my best friend) shared with me, and we cooked a lot, while we underwent treatments.

- 1 pound asparagus, woody ends trimmed
- 3 tablespoons butter, not margarine
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
How To Make honey and soy asparagus

Step 1Melt the butter in a skillet over med. high heat. Whisk in the soy sauce and honey. Add the asparagus and garlic and cook, tossing occasionally, for 5-6 minutes until the asparagus is crisp tender. Place the asparagus in a serving dish and pour the sauce over the top.
