There is nothing better that fresh veggies cooked in a way that does not remove their nutritional elements. Green beans are one of my favorite summer vegetables and they are a wonderful side dish for any type of beef, pork, poultry or fish entree.

Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary leaves, finely crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme, leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground
How To Make herbed green beans

Step 1Over medium high heat,in a medium saucepan, add beans and enough water to cover; cover with a lid and bring beans and water to boil.

Step 2Reduce heat to low; simmer 4 to 6 minutes or until tender-crisp.

Step 3Drain. Return beans to saucepan.

Step 4Toss with vinegar, oil, rosemary, thyme, kosher salt and pepper.

Step 5Cook and stir over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.
