Ingredients

8 c
cauliflower florets
4 tsp
tsp flour
1 c
milk
1/2 c
shredded gruyere cheese
1 Tbsp
fresh chives, chopped
1/2 tsp
minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Gruyere sauced cauliflower florets

Step-by-Step

  • 1In microwaveable bowl, microwave cauliflower in 1/4 cup water about 4 mins. Drain well. In small bowl, whisk together 2 tbsp milk w/ flour until smooth.
  • 2Heat remaining milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming, not boiling. Stir in flour mix. Cook, while whisking until sauce thickens.
  • 3Remove pan from heat. Stir in cheese, chives salt and pepper. Place cauliflower in a serving dish and pour sauce over all.
