How to Make Grilled Sweet Onion
- Peel onion, then slice onion into 3/4-inch rounds, keeping the rings together.
- Lightly brush both sides of the onion slices with olive oil, then season lightly with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Place onions slices flat on preheated grill over indirect heat, and cook until grill-marked and tender, about 5 to 7 minutes. Turn, and grill other side about 5 minutes more. The grilled rounds are excellent served on grilled burgers or to top a juicy grilled steak.
