    ears of corn in husks

How To Make grilled/basted corn on the cobb

    Always want to SOAK you ears of corn in water for a good while to "moisture-up" the husks before grilling,this is very important.

    Next, shake off excess water and peel back some of the husk and brush the Cobb well with Italian dressing. Replace your outer husks and place on the grill to start cooking. Roll you corn around every 6 or so minutes to prevent burning Depending on size it can take up to 20 to 30 minutes. Check for "doneness" by peeling back a husk or two about 1/4 way and pop kernel with fork or knife to check "doneness".
