greens and bacon

Really quick and easy. Don't over cook, the stems on the greens should just be tender.

Ingredients For greens and bacon

  • 3 slice
    bacon cut into small bits
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 bag
    country greens, collard, mustard and turnip
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

How To Make greens and bacon

  • 1
    Chop the bacon into small bits and brown in a large skillet. Leave bacon grease in pan.
  • 2
    Add butter and whole bag of greens. Stir, it will reduce and wilt. Add all the seasonings and cook till just tender.
