Wonderful side dish for any occassion. I love to eat this at The Hoildays, It brings back a lot of memories..Plus its quick and easy. No excuses why you cant have your veggies..

Ingredients

  • 1 - (16 ounce) frozen french-style green beans
  • 1/2 cup fat-free, low-soduim chicken broth or water
  • 1 tablespoon bacon bits
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make green beans with maple-bacon dressing

  • Step 1
    Bring broth to a boil in a large saucepan. Add beans. Cover. Simmer over med-high heat about 7 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender. remove from heat. Drain. Place beans in serving bowl.
  • Step 2
    Mix together bacon bits, syrup, vinegar and pepper in small bowl or cup. Pour over beans. Toss to coat.
