This recipe was born from a "pantry raid" - meaning I had to put dinner on the table, and nothing planned and I didn't want to go to the store. They turned out really good!

frozen green beans
1/3 c
1/2 Tbsp
olive oil or bacon grease
very large clove garlic, thinly sliced
1/2 large
tomato, chopped
1 tsp
greek seasoning blend
salt, pepper, garlic seasoning

How to Make Greek Green Beans by Susan


  • 1Place green beans, water, olive oil, and garlic in a heavy-bottomed pan. Bring to a boil; reduce to simmer and cook covered 20 minutes.
  • 2Uncover and add the tomatoes and seasonings. Taste and adjust salt and pepper if necessary. Continue to cook another 5-10 minutes until tomatoes are cooked and beans are done.
