This was my Grandma Patty's recipe, and we used this recipe for dinners and on the holidays! I want to pass this recipe to you for you to start a tradition! I hope you love it!

How to Make Great Patty's Cole Slaw


  1. Shred the head of cabbage with a grater until fine.
  2. Add the sugar, salt and pepper.
  3. You need to work this into the cabbage.
  4. Put in the vinegar and the water.
  5. Add a bit of sugar if needed.
  6. Let sit for a few hours in the refrigerator, until it gives more flavor.
