Ingredients
- large head of cabbage
- pint 1 pint of whole milk
- tablespoon 5 tablespoons of butter or low fat olive based butter
- dash salt and pepper
- dash celery salt
- CREAMED CABBAGE
- 1 pint one half cup of water
How To Make grannies creamed cabbage

Step 1Quarter the cabbage then slice vertically to make long strips, use the whole cabbage. Wash the cabbage well first to remove any grime. Set aside.

Step 2Pour your water milk, into a stew pot. Bring to a mild boil then turn down the heat to simmer.

Step 3Add butter,salt and pepper, celery seed and then the cabbage strips. Then simmer for 45 minutes taking the lid off the last 20 minutes' Tastes great with meatloaf and cresent rolls.
