How to Make Grama's Peas
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Slice green pepper into 1/2-inch thick rings.
- Open and drain cans of peas. Dump them into 13x9 baking dish.
- Arrange pepper slices, evenly, over peas.
- Pour cream over peas until peas are just covered.
- Cut cold butter into small pieces and dot over surface of peas.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for about an hour until cream has thickened and peas are sort of browned on top.
