How to Make Grama's Peas
- 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 2Slice green pepper into 1/2-inch thick rings.
- 3Open and drain cans of peas. Dump them into 13x9 baking dish.
- 4Arrange pepper slices, evenly, over peas.
- 5Pour cream over peas until peas are just covered.
- 6Cut cold butter into small pieces and dot over surface of peas.
- 7Season with salt and pepper.
- 8Bake for about an hour until cream has thickened and peas are sort of browned on top.
