My friend Rebecca is just one crazy chick....she just throws ingredients in a bowl and it always just comes out really tasty. Do not be afraid to admit that you do not like shredded uncooked vegetables drowned in mayo...there is a ray of sunshine on the horizon...

Ingredients
- 1 - bag shredded red cabbage
- - zest of 2 limes
- - juice of 1 lime
- 1 - tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- - salt and pepper to taste
- - optional: shredded apple
How To Make ginger-lime red cabbage salad

Step 1Whisk all the ingredients except apple, cabbage, and almonds.

Step 2Add the cabbage, apple, and almonds and mix until coated.

Step 3You can eat this right away or you can let it set overnight. Add salt and pepper to taste.
