Ingredients
- 1 package (10 oz) frozen italian-style green beans
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
How To Make garlic green beans

Step 1In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, combine beans, olive oil and garlic. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

Step 2Remove cover, stir and cook 3 minutes longer or until liquid evaporates. Season to taste and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Step 3Per 1/2-cup serving: calories - 55 total fat - 3g; sat fat - 1g cholesterol - 2mg sodium - 68 mg protein - 2g carbohydrate - 5g; fiber - 2g

Step 4Diabetic exchanges: 1 vegetable, 1/2 fat (mono unsaturated)
