pumpkin blossoms

eggs, lightly beaten
1/8 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp
salt
1/3 c
milk
2/3 c
cornmeal
oil for deep frying

How to Make FRIED PUMPKIN BLOSSOMS

Step-by-Step

  • 1Remove and discard center of blossoms. Wash blossoms well. Beat together the eggs, pepper, salt and milk and make a dip. Dip blossoms in the mixture and then coat with cornmeal. Fry briefly until golden in the oil heated to 350 degrees. Serve right away. Makes 4 servings.
