- 24 - pumpkin blossoms
- 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2/3 cup cornmeal
- - oil for deep frying
How To Make fried pumpkin blossoms

Step 1Remove and discard center of blossoms. Wash blossoms well. Beat together the eggs, pepper, salt and milk and make a dip. Dip blossoms in the mixture and then coat with cornmeal. Fry briefly until golden in the oil heated to 350 degrees. Serve right away. Makes 4 servings.
