Ingredients

    pumpkin blossoms
  • 2
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/8 tsp
    freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • 2/3 c
    cornmeal
  • ·
    oil for deep frying

How to Make FRIED PUMPKIN BLOSSOMS

Step-by-Step

  1. Remove and discard center of blossoms. Wash blossoms well. Beat together the eggs, pepper, salt and milk and make a dip. Dip blossoms in the mixture and then coat with cornmeal. Fry briefly until golden in the oil heated to 350 degrees. Serve right away. Makes 4 servings.
