This is one of my families favorite. Very good side dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 bag(s)
    yellow corn 16 oz bag
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar or honey
  • 1/3 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • pinch
    salt

How to Make Fried Cream Corn

Step-by-Step

  1. In large skillet over medium heat melt 4 tablespoon of butter.
  2. When butter is foamy add the corn stirring to coat with the butter.
  3. Cook stirring frequently for 1 minute.
  4. Add sugar or honey and cook for 2 minutes more.
  5. Increase heat to high and add heavy cream. Continue to stir so corn won't stick to pan.
  6. Add salt and pepper. Cook corn until most all of the cream has absorbed about 5 minutes more.
  7. Remove from heat and serve.
