fried cream corn

This is one of my families favorite. Very good side dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 bag yellow corn 16 oz bag
  • 3 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch salt

How To Make fried cream corn

  • Step 1
    In large skillet over medium heat melt 4 tablespoon of butter.
  • Step 2
    When butter is foamy add the corn stirring to coat with the butter.
  • Step 3
    Cook stirring frequently for 1 minute.
  • Step 4
    Add sugar or honey and cook for 2 minutes more.
  • Step 5
    Increase heat to high and add heavy cream. Continue to stir so corn won't stick to pan.
  • Step 6
    Add salt and pepper. Cook corn until most all of the cream has absorbed about 5 minutes more.
  • Step 7
    Remove from heat and serve.
