Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    prewashed baby spinach
  • 1 can(s)
    mandarin oranges, drained
  • 8 oz
    prepackaged carrot matchsticks (1/2 pkg approx)
  • 3
    green onions, sliced thin including green part
  • 1/4 c
    raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing
  • 1
    hard boiled egg (optional)
  • 1 can(s)
    water chestnuts, chopped

How to Make FRESH SPINACH SALAD BY SALLYE

Step-by-Step

  1. Place spinach, carrot stick, water chestnutss and green onions in mixing bowl

    Add mandarin oranges and toss well
  2. Just before serving, add the salad dressing and toss well

    Note: Do not add the salad dressing too early or salad will wilt.
  3. Serve in individual salad bowls, garnished with either crumbled feta cheese or grated parmesan cheese and hard boiled eggs (optional)
