Ingredients

  • 4 - ripe fresh tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon oregano (or basil)
  • - sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

How To Make fresh baked tomato appetizers

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Cut each tomato horizontally in thick slices (2 or three per tomato). Sprinkle parmesan cheese, oregano (or basil), sea salt and ground black pepper over each tomato. Drizzle each with EVOO. Bake on foil lined baking sheet for 10-15 minutes. ENJOY!
