Ingredients
- 1 can garbanzo beans, rinsed & drained
- 3 - garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1/4 cup cilantro, fresh
- 1/4 cup parsley, fresh
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 - lemon squeezed
- - salt/pepper
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 cups vegetable or canola oil for frying
How To Make falafel

Step 1Put the garbanzo beans in a food processor, pulse a few times...just to the consistency of loose bread crumbs...NOT mushy.

Step 2take out and place in a bowl.

Step 3add the rest of the ingredients( except the 2 cups of oil) and also pulse till well combined..

Step 4mix together with the garbanzo beans and refrigerate at least an hour.

Step 5form into small balls and gently press, fry on med-high for about 2 mins per side...until golden brown.

Step 6serve warm in pita bread with tomatoes, lettuce and Tzatziki sauce ( look for recipe here).
