I am not that crazy about onions so I use only about half. I also like my veggies crunchy so I don't cook it too long. When I'm feeling particularly lazy, I use already cooked bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • 4 - 6 slices bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

How To Make easy spicy balsamic green beans

  • Step 1
    Saute bacon and onion until bacon is thoroughly cooked and onion is caramelized.
  • Step 2
    While the bacon and onions are cooking, wash, dry, and break beans into 1 to 1 1/2 inch pieces.
  • Step 3
    Drain.
  • Step 4
    Add green beans and vinegar and heat. You may want them crunchy, or you may cook them longer to make them more tender.
