I made this as a side with Cordon Bleu (I posted a cordon bleu recipe recently) and it was absolutely delicious!

Add to Grocery List

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1 bunch
    fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 c
    red wine

How to Make Divine Asparagus


  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté garlic in the butter until fragrant. Add the asparagus, cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the wine and add the raisins.
  4. Cook uncovered until wine has evaporated and asparagus is tender, about 4 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
