Ever have too many cucumbers in the garden or fridge that better get eaten before you have to throw them out- well this might be the recipe for you. Make them as Crunchy as you like-

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cucumbers, peeled or stripped and sliced to 1/8-inch thickness
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 dash white pepper
  • - minced fresh dill to taste

How To Make dilly cucumbers braised in fry pan

  • Step 1
    Sprinkle cukes with salt; stir well and let stand 30 minutes. Drain in colander; do not press out liquid -just drain.
  • Step 2
    In a 10-inch skillet melt butter; add cukes and pepper; stir well. Cook, covered over moderate heat and stirring several times, just until cukes are at the crunchy tenderness you prefer I like about 3-5 minutes. Stir in dill.
