Ingredients

4 can(s)
green beans (i use kroger brand veri green)
2 c
granulated sugar (can also use a sugar substitute)
1 c
white vinegar
4 Tbsp
oil
1 Tbsp
heaping - dill weed
1 Tbsp
heaping - dried minced onion

How to Make Dilled Bean Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix all ingredients except the beans. (Mix the dill weed and dried onion with the sugar before adding the vinegar and oil - mixes better)
  • 2Heat to a boil and boil gently for 2-3 minutes. Then let COOL.
  • 3Drain beans and put in a bowl or tupperware, etc. Pour cooled mixture over the beans. Mix gently.
  • 4cover and marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Serve cold.
