- 1 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce

Step 1Snip off woody base of asparagus. Slice diagonally into bite size pieces. Melt butter in skillet . Add water, seasoned salt and soy sauce. When mixture boils, add asparagus; toss lightly. Cover and cook over medium high heat for 3-5 minutes or until tender. Do not overcook. Makes 6-8 servings.
