Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1- 2
    minced onions
  • 2- 4 clove
    garlic finely minced
  • 2 tsp
    finely chopped ginger root
  • 6 clove
    cloves
  • 1 tsp
    cummin
  • 1 tsp
    corriander
  • 2 stick
    cinnamon crushed
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp
    turmeric, ground
  • 1/2 tsp
    curry powder
  • 2 can(s)
    garbanzo beans with liquad

How to Make Curry Chickpea / Garbanzos

Step-by-Step

  1. melt butter be careful not to burn. Add onions and cook till tender.
  2. Add all the spices and cook stirring for 1 minutes to make a paste
  3. add chickpeas with liquid and stir , bring to boil, cover and simmer for 3 hours...stirring occasionally
  4. you can mash about 1/4 of the chickpeas in pot after simmering to make less chunky if you like..
