a bit spicy but we like the heat in this house.. warning spices and fiber... can clean ya out a bit.. GREAT with Naan (flat bread)

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1- 2 - minced onions
- 2- 4 cloves garlic finely minced
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped ginger root
- 6 cloves cloves
- 1 teaspoon cummin
- 1 teaspoon corriander
- 2 sticks cinnamon crushed
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon turmeric, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 2 cans garbanzo beans with liquad
How To Make curry chickpea / garbanzos

Step 1melt butter be careful not to burn. Add onions and cook till tender.

Step 2Add all the spices and cook stirring for 1 minutes to make a paste

Step 3add chickpeas with liquid and stir , bring to boil, cover and simmer for 3 hours...stirring occasionally

Step 4you can mash about 1/4 of the chickpeas in pot after simmering to make less chunky if you like..
