crock pot cabbage
I made this for luncheon a lot at the cottage. Everyone went nuts over it. And the amazing thing is no one had any gas from eating the cabbage...thanks to the apples!

Ingredients
- - one med cabbage quartered
- - 2 sliced apples (cored) any kind you desire
- - 1 to two onions sliced/use red onions for color
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup apple juice/states frozen but i use bottled
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons spicey mustard
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make crock pot cabbage

Step 1Spray crock pot with nonstick spray(Lightly)

Step 2Mix in the crock the cabbage, onion, and top with the apple slices

Step 3Mix together the seasoning, the broth, the apple juice,and the mustard. Pour over the cabbage in the crock pot.

Step 4Cook on low heat 6 to 8 hours or until cabbage is done. Be sure to stir the items every two to three hours and serve the cabbage with a slotted spoon.
