  • 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan), grated

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 425 F
  • Step 2
    Combine panko, parmesan, salt, and pepper in a bowl
  • Step 3
    Dredge the asparagus in the flour, dip into egg and then into the panko, parmesan mixture
  • Step 4
    Place the asparagus in a single layer on a wire rack on a baking sheet and bake in preheated 425 F oven until golden brown, about 7-13 minutes
