creamy peas for two
I was hungry for my mother- in- law's Creamy Peas. But she made a huge bowl for the family, and of course she had no recipe. I just wanted to make a small amount for Hubby and myself. So here's what I came up with! Tastes just like hers!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peas, cooked
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
How To Make creamy peas for two

Step 1Prepare the frozen peas as directed on the package. Drain and set aside, cover to keep warm.

Step 2In another small saucepan, melt the butter. Add the tablespoon of flour and whisk until smooth. Slowly pour in the half and half and whisk together. Add salt, pepper, sugar, and onion powder. Whisk again.

Step 3Cook on low heat until the white sauce has thickened. Whisking continuously.

Step 4Pour the sauce over the peas and stir to coat the peas.

Step 5Place in a bowl and serve immediately. Enjoy!
