214 ounce packages frozen pearl onions
3 Tbspall purpose flour
2 1/2 cwhole milk (or half and half)
4 ozshredded muenster cheese
How to Make Creamed Onions
- Cook onions according to directions on package. Drain well.
- Meanwhile, in a medium size saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Mix well and cook over medium high heat for 2 minutes.
- Add the milk, stirring constantly, and cook until thick and bubbly.
- Add the cheese and stir to melt. Add the onions, mix well and cook an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
