  • 1 1/2 lb
    frozen spinach
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 dash(es)
    pepper
  • 1 dash(es)
    nutmeg
  • 1 pinch
    cayenne pepper

How to Make Cream Spinach

Step-by-Step

  1. Thaw and drain the spinach.
  2. In a heavy pot melt butter and add the flour to make a roux.
  3. add the spinach,heavy cream stiring constantly.
    add the remaining ingredients and simmer for about 10 minutes.And serve.
