Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon mrs. dashes
- 1 tablespoon celery salt
- 1 tablespoon louisiana cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon dry onions soup mix
- t tablespoon onion power
- 2 tablespoons diced garlic
- 2 slices thick bacon diced
- 2 tablespoons bacon fat rendered
- 2 tablespoons apple vinegar
- 1/2 cup yellow onion diced
- 1/2 - jalapeno pepper seeded and diced
- 1 bag "cut 'n clean country green mix"(collards, turnip, mustard)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- salt and pepper to taste
How To Make country greens

Step 1Boil 4 cups water, add seasonings, vinegar, bacon, and honey. Boil gently 15 minutes

Step 2in a skillet melt bacon fat, saute onions, garlic, and jalapeno for 3-4 minutes

Step 3Add to broth along with greens; boil gently until greens are tender to suit.
