classy rice dish
This rice and cauliflower dish(you can hardly tell there is cauliflower in this recipe)..The rice is light and has an Indian flavor , using garam marsla spice and a bit of chopped fine coconut, which is optional.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon each butter and vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds or coriander seeds
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped cauliflower
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon each of minced ginger and garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon each of turmeric, and red chili powder
- 1 pinch garam marsla, or to taste
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/4 cups cooked rice (al dente)
- 2 tablespoons chopped coconut
- 1 pinch salt
How To Make classy rice dish

Step 1Over medium heat in a large skillet, add the oil and butter, now add sesame seeds or coriander seeds and stir quickly so as not to burn , but sizzle slightly( they will bounce around be careful).

Step 2Add the cauliflower, onion, ginger, and garlic; sauté briefly. Stir in turmeric, chili, and garam marsla and mix well. Cook for about 4 minutes.

Step 3Add the beaten egg into the pan, scramble and mix well . Add the rice and toss lightly. Try not to make mush of the rice. Mix just until the cauliflower has been evenly mixed. Add the coconut and salt and cook over low flame for about 5 minutes.
