Here's my recipe for potato salad, great for summer when vegetables are fresh!!! This potato salad is awesome for potlucks and picnics and is a family favorite and many requests for the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 9 - new potatoes, steamed until tender, chopped in bite size pieces
  • 6 - eggs, boiled, chopped in bite size pieces
  • 1 - medium sweet onion, chopped in bite size pieces
  • 3 - stalks celery, chopped in bite size pieces
  • 1 - large cucumber, chopped in bite size pieces
  • 3 - radishes, sliced thin, then quartered
  • 2 cups miracle whip, or hellmann's® real mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup wish-bone® deluxe french salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon coleman’s dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • - garlic salt and fresh grind pepper, to taste

How To Make classic potato salad

  • Step 1
    Combine Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise, Wish-Bone® Deluxe French Salad Dressing, dry mustard, parsley, salt, pepper in a small bowl. Whisk together, making sure there are no lumps of dry mustard.
  • Step 2
    In a large mixing bowl combine the potatoes, celery, onion, radishes, cucumbers and eggs and toss gently.
  • Step 3
    Gently toss together the vegetables with the dressing mixture, making sure to evenly combine ingredients.
  • Step 4
    Cover with plastic wrap, and chill until ready to use or serve at room temperature
