This is a punjabi cousine.Its eaten with rice or chappati or bread.Everyone will love it.

Ingredients

  • can 1 can boiled chick pea.
  • 2 tablespoons chick pea flour(besan aata)
  • 1 tablespoon chola masala
  • 2 medium chopped onions
  • 2 medium chopped tomatoes or 2tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 tablespoons coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt or per your taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon asafoetida
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoons oil

How To Make chola(veg chickpea)

  • Step 1
    Take a pressure cooker.Add 2 tbsp of oil.Add chick pea flour and onions.Fry till light golden brown.
  • Step 2
    Add tomatoes ,asafoetida,corainder powder amd rest of the ingredients with chickpea as well.
  • Step 3
    Cover with cooker lid n give 2-3 whistles.Serve hot.
