Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped peeled ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 6 ounces sugar snap peas, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 6 ounces snow peas, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup frozen green peas
- 1 1/4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil or peanut oil
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds or sunflower seeds
How To Make chinese pea pods

Step 1Heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat in a 12-in. skillet until hot, then stir fry ginger and red pepper flakes about 1 minute.

Step 2Add sugar snap peas and snow peas and stir fry until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.

Step 3Add the frozen peas and stir fry until hot, about 2 minutes.

Step 4Remove from heat and stir in soy sauce and sesame (or peanut) oil.

Step 5Sprinkle with seeds and season with salt to taste.
