I got this from my little cookbook called The Magic of Florida Celery. I cannot find a date when it was published.

Ingredients For celery slaw

  • 3 c
    thinly sliced celery
  • 1/2 c
    shredded raw carrots
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/3 c
    salad oil
  • 1 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    wine vinegar

How To Make celery slaw

  • 1
    Combine salt, black pepper, paprika, sugar, vinegar, and oil. Slowly stir in sour cream. Add to carrots and celery. Toss lightly. Serve with meat, poultry or fish.
