We Enjoy a Side dish of vegies, like Cauliflower and also Broccoli. But we like Something other than topped with Butter or a Cheese Sauce. So here is a complimentary sauce we use.

Ingredients

  • SAUCE FOR CALUFLOWER
  • 1/2 C - mayonaise
  • 1/2 C - sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp - dill weed
  • 1 tsp - dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp - lemon juice
  • CAULIFLOWER (WITH LEAVES & STEMS REMOVED)
  • 1 Med - head of cauliflower,
  • 1 C - water
  • 1 tsp - salt

How To Make cauliflower with cream sauce by freda

  • Step 1
    Make sauce 1st: Make your sauce in a small bowl, Mixing all the Sauce Ingredients together; Blend well, set aside.
  • Step 2
    in a medium Pot, add cauliflower, Water, & salt. Bring to Boil. Reduce Heat, COVER and SIMMER, til tender, (about 15 min.) Drain, Serve with sauce spooned over Hot Cauliflower.
  • Step 3
    Tip: Broccoli can be added with the Cauliflower and served with this same sauce.
