There is a lot of cabbage cooked in Russian recipes, and this recipe is one of the tastiest and easiest. A great side dish to serve with any kind of meat.

all purpose flour

light cream or half and half
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make
Wash cabbage. Boil in salted water until tender, about 30-35 minutes. Drain and chop well.
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, blend in cream and stir over medium heat until sauce is thick. Season with salt and pepper. Add cabbage and simmer 5 minutes.
Place mixture into a 2-qt. buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 10 minutes or until bubbly.
