- 1 medium green cabbage
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups light cream or half and half
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs
How To Make cabbage in cream

Step 1Wash cabbage. Boil in salted water until tender, about 30-35 minutes. Drain and chop well.

Step 2In a saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, blend in cream and stir over medium heat until sauce is thick. Season with salt and pepper. Add cabbage and simmer 5 minutes.

Step 3Place mixture into a 2-qt. buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 10 minutes or until bubbly.
