This is my Favorite way to eat cabbage. My family loves it...especially the picky eaters under the age of 7. Please note, I DO NOT MEASURE so measurements are interchangeable based on your taste.

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon, your choice
- 1 small green cabbage, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter or spread
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, yellow or white, chopped
- - black or white pepper
How To Make cabbage and bacon

Step 1Melt butter in pan on medium heat. Then add chopped garlic, chopped onion, and chopped bacon to the pan.

Step 2Once the bacon, garlic, and onion are cooked through, add your chopped cabbage. Then add water or more butter as needed.

Step 3Saute all ingredients together to desired consistency (i.e. crunchy or fully cooked).

Step 4Season with white or black pepper to taste. Please note, you may substitute fresh or frozen cut green beans for cabbage. You may also substitute garlic and onion powders for fresh garlic and onion.
